my thoughts on whatever comes to me--including cravings for iyan and egusi soup--as i write.
I have four o'clocks too! :-)
carleen:you do?! i welcome any thoughts you have for me on their care. these are potted.
So beautiful -- I admire anyone who can tend to delicate plants. I am not such a person :)
thank you lisa! i've waited quite some time for these buds. :D
Well, I don't know that I have any advice. My next door neighbor pulled up some of her 4 o'clocks and forced them on me a few years ago when I didn't really have a place for them. I stuck them in the ground and ignored them hoping they would die. They didn't. They were beautiful. But in the wrong place. So the next year when they started to come up I pulled them up before they could bloom. I saved one and plucked it down outside my living room window. Again ignoring it. This year it's HUGE. It still doesn't really belong anywhere, but I can't bear to get rid of it.I'm sure getting a potted one to bloom takes a lot more work, so good on you!
so very lovely!
