driving home yesterday afternoon, i saw the following printed on the bumper sticker of the car in front: "speak your mind even if your voice shakes." ~maggie kuhn.

I struggle with this. Most of the people close to me tend to be far more outspoken than I am, while I frequently keep my comments to myself, particularly when someone says something I disagree with or even find offensive. I'm not sure why I've got such a "don't make waves" attitude. Very often, I think it serves me well, but now and then I do find myself wishing I had said something.

Yeah, I agree with this "Speak your mind even if your voice shakes" attitude. I should like to think I sometimes put it into practice, though one can never be sure...
